Grew up on it, family grew up on it, grandfather grew up on it. Truly a pgh classic.

The hotdogs and burgers with sauce are the best. Used to live right down the street but moved. We still make the trip once in a while.

Great vibes all around from start to finish. So many choices on the menu, it's overwhelming. Everything sounds good, smells good, and taste good. No extra sauces needed. Everything is perfect the way it is and the owner is a legend. Great guy.

One of the places i miss from moving out of Western PA> I had to buy sauce to bring back home to have for my hot dog toppings. I was sorry to hear that Al passed away in 2017 and thankfully the sauce and dogs still taste great.

As a long-time Jim's customer I was extremely disappointed to go there today and see multiple people who were making food wearing masks without covering their face and exposing their noses. Sorry folks, I don't care how good the food is, I am not coming here again. You have a responsibility to your customers to take safety precautions and you clearly don't care. Sad.

Old School Cool. It's not overpriced compared to the modern hot dog shops that are in the city. Very delicious!

Great local place for burgers and dogs. Nothing fancy about the place except the food. Little outdoor seating and food comes on paper plates or takeout boxes. Worth the wait everytime.

The first time I had Jim's hot dog an sauce it was awesome an that was in 1992. I have been there quite a few times I live in ohio now but I order the sauce slot now I really do enjoy it. I can hardly wait till you get more in stock so I can order more

Good food. Had the cheese dogs with sauce, onion and mustard. Took until the 2nd dog to get the "taste" of the sauce which is like no other I have had. Not a chili sauce, but really good. Pleasant staff, a little pricey but worth it.

Decent food. Would be nice if they had covered seating.

I ate here 7 years ago and forgot about it. Stumbled across it again and I am glad I did. Very good hot dogs.

Grew up here in the 60's one street away, my mom was friend with Alex and nothing has changed. .....which is a good thing, when something works, just let the product speak for itself . His family is doing him proud carrying on a local tradition.

They do the few things that they do well, hot dogs and burgers. More so their hot dogs. Their famous sauce is quite tasty. They need to either stop serving their fries or establish a new frying method because their fries come out soft and never crispy. They are an old school establishment and I like that they haven’t deviated away too far away from what they are really good at, hot dogs

Hotdogs are grilled to perfection along with the toast on the cheese and buns. Burgers are exactly how I like them. Small diner like patties with that soft bun. But the kicker to everything is the sauce that you can put on a shoe and eat it. The sauce is really that tasty. A little sweet with a little spice just makes everything on the menu better. So remember order with cheese, sauce, onions and mustard. That's the perfect bite.

Great place to catch a quick meal. The sauce is amazing great on hamburgers and hotdogs. The outside seating is just picnic tables. The food does get done rather quickly which is nice.

Decent quality dogs with fixings. The sauce didn't have much of a unique taste to me. The burgers were pretty good. Definitely can recommend the milkshakes. Extra thick ones are worth the slight upcharge!

What a great place to go with the family and enjoy some great tasting unique hotdogs. This place takes me back when I was a kid & then took my kido. Jim's sauce is the best along with the melted cheese along with a toasted bun.

70 degrees outside in janurary got to stop for a jims dog although i had a fam and cheese so very good also like the chocolate shake and the nachos all so good sit at picnic table and enjoy

Fast service and good hotdogs

Hot dogs are the best! And if you like sauerkraut...it's never put on right from the "jar"! Never soggy or salty! They brown the kraut on the hotdog in a broiler and it has a great flavor!
